AFP Page Segments and Overlays

In Advanced Function Printing, a page segment is an image. An overlay is an electronic form usually merged with other variable print data.

You can use the AFP print driver to create page segments or overlays from existing Windows document. You can download this driver from IBM Printing Systems Downloads
the Generalised Bitmap Module programs can be used to convert other graphics formats to page segments. It is available from http://www.nyangau.fsnet.co.uk/. Sample command: gbmref input.gif output.pseg
